Jeroen Kok

Jeroen Kok is an experienced planning and development professional currently serving as the Planning & Development Manager in the Parks & Recreation Department for the City of Hillsboro since November 2015. Prior to this role, Jeroen held key positions such as Strategic Planning, Development & Resource Manager at North Clackamas Park & Recreation District and County Parks & Forest Manager, where responsibilities included managing urban park planning, natural resource management, and customer service operations. Jeroen’s past experience also includes serving as Senior Planner & Special Projects Manager for the Vancouver-Clark Parks & Recreation Department and Senior Community Development Planner at Clark County, WA Department of Community Development. Jeroen holds a Master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Stephen F. Austin State University, complemented by specialized training from the National Training Center for Public Facility Managers.
