Joann Mracek-Hussey

Joann Mracek-Hussey currently serves as the Director of Communications, Marketing and Economic Development for the City of Hollywood, Florida, where responsibilities include leading a team to manage public information, marketing strategies, and emergency messaging, while also overseeing media relations and video production efforts. Prior experience includes roles at WSFL-TV as Brand Manager and at the Sun-Sentinel as Production Manager, where notable achievements included increasing video web traffic significantly. Additional past positions held at The Zimmerman Agency, WSVN-TV, and WO8CJ CHANNEL 8 provided extensive experience in media production and editing. Education was completed at Champlain College from 1988 to 1990.
