Jonathan Antista

Jonathan Antista has a diverse work experience in various government and healthcare-related roles. Jonathan has served as an Assistant Director in the Office of Budget & Performance Management at the City of Hollywood, Florida since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Council of the District of Columbia, first as a Deputy Director for Budget from October 2019 to September 2021, and then as a Senior Budget Analyst from June 2019 to October 2019.

Jonathan also worked as a Professional Staff Member for the U.S. House of Representatives from February 2017 to May 2019, focusing on federal budget and policy issues related to income security, education, commerce, technology, and healthcare programs. Before that, they were a Health Insurance Specialist at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from June 2015 to February 2017, conducting legislative, economic, and policy analyses related to private health insurance programs and the Affordable Care Act.

Additionally, Jonathan has experience as a Budget Analyst at the Council of the District of Columbia from January 2014 to June 2015, performing budgetary and policy analyses on various health and human services issues. Jonathan also worked as a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from February 2013 to January 2014, providing expertise on healthcare programs and managing content development for the federal Health Insurance Marketplace.

Jonathan's earlier roles include serving as a Policy and Legislative Associate at the Committee on Health Council of the District of Columbia from June 2011 to February 2013, where they advised on health insurance and public health policy areas. Jonathan also worked as a Staff Assistant at the same committee from August 2010 to June 2011. Finally, they began their career as an Administrative Assistant at the American College of Medical Genetics Foundation from December 2009 to August 2010.

Jonathan Antista attended the University of Rochester from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on Political Science and Religion and Classical Studies. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in Legislative Affairs at The George Washington University.
