Mustafa Raoof is an Assistant Professor in Gastrointestinal Surgical Oncology at City of Hope since September 2017. Prior experience includes a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at City of Hope from July 2015 to June 2017 and a General Surgery Residency at The University of Arizona from July 2009 to June 2015. Additionally, Mustafa Raoof served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from July 2010 to June 2012, focusing on the development of a non-invasive RF nano-hyperthermia system and targeted drug delivery in cancer cells. Earlier work includes a General Surgery Internship at Yale New Haven Hospital from July 2008 to June 2009 and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Harvard University in 2007-2008, investigating the biological basis of systemic inflammatory response syndrome. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Translational Sciences, Cancer Biology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Doctor of Medicine from Aga Khan University.
