Michael Dunn

Michael Dunn is currently working at the City of Howell as the Chief of Police since February 2004. With experience as a Deputy Chief, Police Sergeant, Detective, and Officer. Michael also holds the position of Reserve Police Officer at Washtenaw Community College since 2019, where Michael serves as an Assistant Instructor for Firearms and Defensive Tactics. Michael served in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantryman from July 1998 to September 2006, with assignments in the 1st Bn. 24th Marines and 1st Bn. 2d Marines. Michael holds a degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Phoenix and has completed the School of Staff & Command program at Michigan State University in 2017.
