Meagan Openshaw has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 with an internship as a Corporate Trainer at Karl Strauss Brewing Company. Meagan later became a Microsoft Student Partner before joining the University of the Rockies as an Admissions Counselor in 2011. Following that, Meagan worked at Bridgepoint Education as a Quality Performance Analyst for a year. In 2013, they transitioned to One World Lab, Inc. where they served as the Customer Relations Manager and eventually became the Director of Customer Relations. In 2016, they joined Pathways Noble Works as an Employment Specialist, where they provided case management and support to Transition Age Youth. In 2017, Meagan held a Planning Intern position at the City of Santee. Meagan then joined the City of Imperial Beach in 2018 and held several positions including Assistant Planner, Associate Planner, Senior Planner, and Director of Community Development. Currently, Meagan is associated with The San Diego Regional Climate Collaborative, serving as the Advisory Board Vice Chair and will later become the Advisory Board Chair.
Meagan Openshaw earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Northwestern University, from 2006 to 2010.
