Heather Wiley

Heather Wiley serves as the 3rd District Councilmember for the City of Independence, Missouri, since April 2024. With a robust background in art direction, Heather has held positions as Art Director at Nextworld® and Cloud Inventory® from January 2021 to January 2025 and August 2019 to January 2025, respectively, focusing on innovative supply chain solutions. Prior experience includes roles as Visual Communications Manager at Outreach International and Creative Services Manager at Breakthrough Marketing+Design+Technology, as well as art direction at Russell Stover Candies and The Pitch. Heather's foundational experience in design began at Hallmark Cards and Design Resources, Inc. education includes a Bachelor of Fine Art in Fine and Studio Arts from The University of Kansas, attained from 1988 to 2003.
