Selene Quiroz, JD, has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Legal Associate at the Innocence Project since May 2017. Additionally, Selene holds the position of Commissioner of Parks and Recreation for the City of Inglewood, having been appointed by City Councilman Alex Padilla to a five-member advisory board dedicated to advocating for community needs and securing funding. Prior legal experience includes roles as a Legal Clerk at the Disability Rights Legal Center (2018-2019), Case Assistant and Spanish Interpreter at Paul Hastings LLP (2016-2017), and participation in a direct representation program at the Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project (2016). Selene began a legal career as a Law Clerk at an Immigration Law Firm (2014-2015), focusing on immigration applications and trial documentation. Selene earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne in 2019.
