April Lammers is a seasoned library professional currently serving as the Principal Librarian for Digital Services at the City of Irvine since March 2025. Previously, April held various positions at the City of Huntington Beach from September 2014 to March 2025, including Acting Library and Cultural Services Manager and Senior Librarian for Technology and Support Services. Prior experience includes serving as the Library Director for the Diocese of Orange from January 2008 to September 2014 and as an Education and Outreach Intern at the University of California, Irvine. April began their career as a Teen Services/Reference Associate at Wadsworth Public Library and completed an internship with the Cleveland Council on World Affairs. April holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Baldwin Wallace University.
