Dinorah Hernandez

Dinorah Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Dinorah currently works as a Council Executive Assistant in the Office of Councilmember Kathleen Treseder at the City of Irvine. Previously, they were a Research Assistant at UC Irvine, a Delegate and Environmental Caucus Treasurer at the California Democratic Party, and a Youth Constituency Organizer at Katie Porter for Congress. Dinorah has also served as a Freedom Corp Fellow at the Working Families Party and as a Philanthropy Chairperson at Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority, Inc. Additionally, they have worked as a Residential Advisor at UCI Housing - Middle Earth, a Menstruation Equity Student Intern at UC Irvine Womxn's Center for Success, and a Civic Engagement Intern at Communities for a Better Environment. Their early experience includes working as a Political Engagement Lead at Sunrise Movement.

Dinorah Hernandez enrolled at UC Irvine in 2018 and completed their studies in 2022. Dinorah pursued a degree in Environmental Science and Policy with a minor in Political Science. Additionally, in December 2020, they obtained a certification in Social/Behavioral Investigators from the CITI Program, a division of BRANY.
