Mariam Saada

Mariam Saada Ph.D. serves as the Council Executive Assistant to Mayor Farrah N. Khan at the City of Irvine since December 2021. With experience as a French and Spanish teacher at King/Drew Medical Magnet High School and a Spanish teacher at both New Horizon School and Orange Crescent School, Mariam has a robust background in education, exemplified by a long tenure as a Spanish instructor at various colleges including Irvine Valley College and California State University, Los Angeles. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from UCLA, along with multiple master's degrees and teaching credentials in education and language studies. Mariam has also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Historical Linguistics at the University of California, Riverside.
