Kevin Lahner

Kevin Lahner currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Janesville, Wisconsin, since May 2023. Prior to this role, Kevin held the position of City Administrator for the City of Waukesha from January 2015 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing daily operations, preparing the Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan, and administering the operating budget for a city with a population of 71,000. Kevin also served as City Administrator in Burlington, managing a budget of $19 million and overseeing various city operations from 2008 to 2014, and held positions as Assistant City Manager in Keller and Assistant to the Town Manager in Flower Mound earlier in their career, focusing on economic development and legislative outreach. Kevin holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Communications-Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
