Kgaugelo Malatji has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. They started their career at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation, and Arbitration (CCMA) in 1997, where they served as a part-time Commissioner, conciliating workplace disputes and arbitrating unresolved disputes. They then worked at Telkom as a Labour Relations Consultant, conducting investigations, presenting cases in disciplinary hearings, and assisting with labor relation procedures from 1998 to 2003.

Moving on, Malatji worked as a Human Resource Manager at Polokwane Municipality from 2003 to 2007. In this role, they actively participated in team meetings and ensured business-focused and aligned execution of HR solutions.

From 2007 to 2013, Malatji held various roles at SITA, including Senior Specialist in Organisational Change Management and Senior Specialist in HR Projects.
