Pieter Steyn

Pieter Steyn has extensive experience in IT auditing and management, currently serving as the Deputy Director IT Audit at the City of Johannesburg since January 2001, where responsibilities include managing the IT Audit Unit for Core and strategically placing the unit within the city. Previous roles include IS Audit Manager, Senior Internal Auditor for Information Systems, and various positions in internal auditing at Midrand Municipality, coupled with early career experience in logistics and warehousing at Tripple P Chemicals and ICL Computers Ltd. Pieter holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Information Technology Management from the Management College of South Africa, attained between 2014 and 2017, and completed secondary education at Rhodesfield High from 1974 to 1979.
