Kevin Browne, CPRP/CPO, has extensive experience in the field of parks and recreation. Kevin currently serves as the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Katy. Prior to this role, Kevin held positions at the City of Missouri City, where they were initially a Recreation Manager before being promoted to Recreation Superintendent. Kevin also worked at the City of Bellaire - Parks, Recreation & Facilities as a Recreation Supervisor.

Before joining the City of Bellaire, Kevin was a Recreation Specialist for the City of Bellaire's Parks & Recreation Department. In this role, they were responsible for promoting and organizing recreational programs and events. Kevin also served as a liaison for facility rentals and class instructors.

Kevin's experience also includes working as a Pool Supervisor and a Basketball Official for the Sienna Plantation Residential Association. During their time at Sam Houston State University, they worked as a Graduate Assistant in Intramural Sports, where they provided sports programming opportunities for students. Kevin Browne, CPRP/CPO, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Kevin further pursued their education at Sam Houston State University, earning a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Kinesiology-Sport Management between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Recreation Park and Tourism Sciences from Texas A&M University, although the specific dates for this degree are not provided.
