Greg Goedecker

Greg Goedecker is an experienced emergency management professional currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Katy since August 2018. In this role, Greg has successfully led emergency planning and community preparedness initiatives in collaboration with various governmental agencies and city departments. Prior to this position, Greg held multiple roles at the City of Irving, including Emergency Management Specialist and Emergency Management Planner, where responsibilities included maintaining emergency operations plans and conducting public outreach. Greg's career also includes experience as an IAP Specialist/Lead at The Response Group, providing global emergency response consulting, and an internship in emergency management at the City of League City. Greg holds a Bachelor's degree in Emergency Administration and Planning from the University of North Texas.
