Bobby J. Tatum Jr.

Bobby J. Tatum Jr., MS, EFO currently serves as the Fire Chief for the City of Keller since October 2022. Previously, Bobby held the position of Fire Chief in the City of Waco, TX from May 2016 to October 2022 and served at the Fort Worth Fire Department in various roles from 2006 to 2016, including Deputy Chief over Fire Prevention, Strategic Planning, and Special Projects, as well as Deputy Chief / Shift Commander managing operations and a significant budget. Bobby's early experience also includes commanding the Bomb Squad. Academically, Bobby holds a Master of Science in Leadership with an Emphasis in Disaster Preparedness and Executive Fire Leadership from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Applied Science from Midwestern State University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Protection Technology from Tarrant County College.
