Director Public Works And Solid Waste at City of Kingston

Karen Santucci has a diverse work experience. Karen is currently working as the Director of Public Works and Solid Waste at the City of Kingston since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance (ORCGA) from February 2018 to October 2021. Karen spent a significant portion of their career at Utilities Kingston, where they held various positions. From November 2015 to October 2021, they were the Manager of Utilities Services and Gas Operations. Before that, they served as the Manager of Health, Safety, and Systems Operations from October 2013 to November 2015. Karen also worked as a Supervisor of Health, Safety, and System Operations from January 2012 to November 2013 and as a Health and Safety Coordinator from June 1999 to January 2012.

Karen Santucci attended the University of Waterloo from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Environmental Studies. Their field of study at the university was Environmental and Resource Studies. Before attending university, Karen Santucci completed their secondary education at Bayridge Secondary School.
