Brad Porter

Brad Porter, MBA, has extensive experience in law enforcement within the City of Kirkland, holding positions from Patrol Officer to Senior Patrol Sergeant from 2000 to the present. As Senior Patrol Sergeant, Brad exhibits leadership principles and oversees management tasks such as report review and training approval. Previously, as a Detective Corporal, Brad was a founding member and Team Leader of the Peer Support Team and co-authored the initial policy and selection process. Brad's training encompasses crime scene investigation, physical surveillance, fire investigation, and homicide investigation. Brad holds a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership from the University of Washington, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Oklahoma, and has completed the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University.
