Steve Lackey

Steve Lackey has extensive experience in the field of parks and recreation. Steve is currently serving as the Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Kissimmee since April 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Assistant Director for the City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation department from October 2007 to May 2021. Before joining the City of Kissimmee, Lackey served as the Director for the South Lyon Area Recreation Authority from August 1997 to October 2007.

Steve Lackey attended Michigan State University from 1982 to 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management.
