Tessa Baldwin

Tessa Baldwin, LMSW, currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Kotzebue since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tessa held positions as the Director of Public Safety and Village Improvement Fund Administrator at Northwest Arctic Borough from September 2021 to January 2023. Tessa’s experience in youth therapy includes roles at Maniilaq Association as Sayaqagvik Youth Therapist II and Itinerant Therapist from June 2019 to September 2021. Earlier professional experiences include work as a planner/grant writer for Maniilaq Association, a legislative fellow for the National Congress of American Indians, and internships with the US Environmental Protection Agency and Wells Fargo. Tessa earned a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from UC San Diego.
