Will Atkinson

Will Atkinson is an experienced professional in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Parks Planning & Project Manager for the City of Kyle, TX since July 2016. In this role, Will has also held various positions, including Director of Planning and Senior Planner. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Chick-fil-A-Franchise, where operational excellence and customer service were emphasized, and as a Rehabilitation Educator with ResCare, focusing on patient care for individuals with acquired brain injuries. Will has also contributed to the Long Range Planning Committee for the City of Kyle and interned with both the City of Seguin and the Seguin Economic Development Corporation. Will holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban & Regional Planning from Texas State University. Skills include proficiency in current codes and policies relevant to planning and expertise in ArcGIS software.
