Ray Sweeney

Ray Sweeney MS has had a successful career spanning several years. Ray started their work experience in 1986 with the US Army, where they served as a Sergeant Major and retired in 2012. After that, they joined the City of La Mesa, CA in 2001 and held various roles, including Captain and currently serving as the Chief of Police. Their dedication and expertise make him a valuable asset in the field of law enforcement.

Ray Sweeney MS has a comprehensive education history that spans multiple institutions and fields of study. In 2006 to 2009, they attended the U.S. Army Sergeant's Major Academy. Following this, in 2010, they participated in the Supervisory Leadership Institute. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute & University. In 2015, they attended the FBI National Academy. Most recently, from 2019 to 2020, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Law Enforcement Leadership from the University of San Diego.
