Mike Holguin

Mike Holguin, MBA, MLA, currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Kennedale, overseeing all police operations since January 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Police Captain, Reserve Police Officer, and Security Consultant at Delta Solutions Inc. Holguin held leadership positions in multiple educational institutions, including Director of Health, Safety & Security for the Kennedale Independent School District and Criminal Justice Instructor for Arlington ISD. Previous law enforcement roles encompass Assistant Chief of Police at The University of Texas at Arlington, Assistant and Acting Chief of Police at the University of Texas at Brownsville, and Police Lieutenant and Sergeant in the City of Arlington. Holguin’s educational background features an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Amberton University, an MLA from Texas Christian University, and ongoing PhD studies in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security at Liberty University.
