Danny Castro has a diverse work experience in various roles related to city development and planning. Danny started their career as a Senior Planner at the City of Beverly Hills in 2001, where they held multiple positions over a span of five years. Danny then worked as a Senior Associate of Development at The Kor Group from 2006 to 2007. Castro served as a Historic Preservation Commissioner at the City of West Hollywood from 2005 to 2014. Danny later became the Director of Development Services at the City of Sierra Madre from 2008 to 2014. Castro then worked as the Community Development Director at the City of Sausalito from 2014 to 2018. Currently, they serve as the Director of Design and Development at the City of La Quinta.
Danny Castro attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1988 to 1992 and in 2010. Danny pursued a field of study in Urban and Regional Planning during both periods, but it is not stated whether they obtained a degree.
