Austin Newnam is an experienced computer technician with a diverse background in technology support and network management. Currently employed by the City of Lacey since May 2022, Austin collaborates with patrol officers and command staff to integrate advanced technology into vehicles, addressing tech-related issues and ensuring functionality of mobile devices and surveillance systems. Prior roles include serving as a Technical Alignment Engineer at SisAdmin, LLC, where client systems were aligned with compliance standards, and as a Network Administrator at the Office of the Secretary of State, where networking infrastructure was designed and implemented for state offices. Austin's experience also encompasses video surveillance, IT support, and system administration across various organizations, supported by an Associate degree in Computer Networking and Information System Security from Clover Park Technical College.
