Cathy McKay serves as the Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer at SCJ Alliance since April 2014 and has held the role of Planning Commissioner for the City of Lacey since November 2022, contributing to long-range comprehensive planning goals and policies. Previously, Cathy was a Planning Commissioner for the City of Lacey from December 2013 to December 2019 and held multiple leadership roles within the American Public Works Association (APWA), including Chair of the Washington State Chapter Conference Oversight Committee and Chair of the Marketing and Public Outreach Committee. Prior experience includes positions as Marketing Director at PACLAND, Chief Marketing Officer at Finesse Marketing Inc., and Marketing Strategist at SCJ Alliance. Cathy holds a Leadership Thurston County graduate degree and a Grant Writing certificate from Green River College, with additional education from Washington State University.
