Gene Ginn has extensive experience in solid waste management, currently serving as the Manager of Solid Waste for the City of Lakeland since January 2015. Prior to this role, Gene held multiple positions at the City of Largo, including Assistant Solid Waste Manager and Trade Foreman/Solid Waste Foreman, from October 2001 to January 2015. Gene began the career as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at the City of Largo from September 1996 to July 2001. Academically, Gene holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Barry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Corporate Finance from Eckerd College.
