Jarrod Wise

Jarrod Wise, CPC, has extensive experience in communications, public relations, and journalism, currently serving as the Director of Communications for the City of Lakeway since June 2019. Prior to this role, Jarrod was the Vice President of Communications at the Better Business Bureau serving the Heart of Texas, where responsibilities included acting as chief spokesperson and generating positive media ROI exceeding $1 million. Jarrod also held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for the Better Business Bureau in Northern California, managing marketing and PR initiatives. Earlier experience includes leadership in communication roles at other Better Business Bureau branches and as a multi-platform journalist for KXAN-TV and KVUE, where achievements included producing award-winning segments. Jarrod holds dual honors degrees in Broadcast & Electronic Media and Health and Sport Sciences from the University of Oklahoma.
