Sharon Allen-Spann SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in the field of human resources and leadership development. Sharon Allen-Spann started their career in 1983 as a Teacher and Human Resources Professional at the School District of Lancaster. After working there for 24 years, they retired and joined the Unionville Chadds Ford School District as a Human Resources Professional. In 2013, they transitioned to the corporate sector and worked as a Specialist at Apple and later as an Administrative Temp at OfficeTeam.

In 2014, Sharon joined the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where they held various roles. Sharon Allen-Spann started as an HR Generalist, providing human resources and organizational development services to departments. Sharon Allen-Spann then served as the Assistant Bureau Chief, assisting in the planning, organizing, and directing of the Human Resources Bureau's activities. Sharon later became the Leadership Development & Diversity Manager, where they focused on promoting diversity and implementing leadership development initiatives. Currently, they hold the position of Bureau Chief Human Resources, overseeing the city's human resources functions.

Sharon Allen-Spann began their educational journey at Millersville State College from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further academic achievements at Millersville University of PA from 1988 to 1991. During this time, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Masters of Education.

In addition to their formal education, Sharon Allen-Spann has also obtained additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2015, they became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through SHRM. Subsequently, in 2017, they earned the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). These certifications highlight their commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of human resources.
