Katelyn Balzer

Katelyn Balzer, B.Sc., P.Eng., serves as the Director of Engineering and Public Works for the City of Langford since January 2023. Previously, Katelyn held the position of Civil Engineer at Dillon Consulting Limited from March 2017 to January 2023, contributing to significant projects such as the rehabilitation of multiple bridges and infrastructure improvements across Canada. Early career experience includes roles as Resident Project Engineer-in-Training at Resource Management International Inc., Civil Engineer at Associated Engineering, and Project Manager at Pavement Scientific International, among others. Katelyn completed a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in 2013.
