Jari Iskanius

Jari Iskanius has extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and management roles. Jari began their career at Visma Services Teemuaho in 1997, where they worked as a Trainer for strategic and financial planning software until 2000. Jari then transitioned to the role of Manager of software development at the same company, holding this position until 2012. In 2012, Jari joined the South Karelia Social and Health Care District as a Controller and worked there until 2015. Jari then became the Managing Director of Sairaalaparkki Oy from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Jari also joined Saimaan talous ja tieto Oy as a Board Member until 2018. From 2015 to the present, they have been employed by the City of Lappeenranta, where they started as a Financial Controller and then progressed to become the Finance Manager and currently holds the position of Finance Director. Jari also holds board positions at Efetta Oy and Meidän IT ja talous Oy since 2019.

Jari Iskanius completed their M.Sc degree in Accounting at LUT University from 1994 to 1997. Later on, they pursued their education at Johtamiskoulutus and obtained a JET Johtamisen erikoisammattitutkinto degree by 2010. The specific field of study for their latter degree is not provided.
