David Weir

David Weir has extensive work experience in community development and planning roles. David started their career as the Planning and Economic Development Director at the City of Franklin, IN in 2000. In 2006, they joined the City of Las Cruces as the Community Development Director, where they served until 2017. At the City of Las Cruces, they held various positions, including Chief Planning Administrator and Deputy Director of Community Development.

David Weir attended DePauw University where they studied Geography. At some point, they also pursued a Master's degree in Geography/Planning from Indiana State University. The exact start and end years of their education at both institutions are unknown.
