Jim Perron currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Public Works & Safety for the City of Lawrence, Indiana, a position held since January 2024. Jim Perron also served as Director of Project Development for SUEZ, overseeing strategic growth in the Midwest, and as Vice President of Government Affairs at BCA Consultants, Inc., instrumental in securing significant funding for Indiana communities. As the founder and President of The Perron Group, Inc., Jim Perron represented interests in local government services, and prior to these roles, Jim Perron distinguished himself as the youngest and longest-serving mayor of Elkhart, Indiana, overseeing vital infrastructure and public safety reforms. Jim Perron holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University South Bend in the School of Public & Environmental Affairs.
