Jim Perron

Jim Perron currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Public Works & Safety for the City of Lawrence, Indiana, a position held since January 2024. With extensive experience in public policy and environmental services, Jim Perron has previously held senior roles at organizations such as Woodard & Curran, where as a Senior Consultant, Jim Perron focused on market growth in the Midwest, and at Veolia North America, where the role involved leading project development in water and wastewater initiatives. Jim Perron also served as Director of Project Development for SUEZ, overseeing strategic growth in the Midwest, and as Vice President of Government Affairs at BCA Consultants, Inc., instrumental in securing significant funding for Indiana communities. As the founder and President of The Perron Group, Inc., Jim Perron represented interests in local government services, and prior to these roles, Jim Perron distinguished himself as the youngest and longest-serving mayor of Elkhart, Indiana, overseeing vital infrastructure and public safety reforms. Jim Perron holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University South Bend in the School of Public & Environmental Affairs.
