Susan N. Schlecht Cgfm

Susan N. Schlecht, CGFM, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Component Unit Accountant for the City of Lawton since June 2005, where responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reports, presenting financial information to component boards, and liaising with tax authorities regarding TIF district taxation. Previous roles within the City of Lawton involved sales tax collections, budget preparation, and database management, alongside a position as Senior Secretary where Susan maintained city codes and processed financial documentation. Prior to this, Susan worked as Executive Assistant to the CEO of Cosmetic Specialty Labs, Inc., managing correspondence, conducting research, and developing product lines. Susan holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and an Associate of Science in Business Administration, both from Cameron University.
