Bob Shaver is an experienced leadership professional with a strong background in economic development and mentoring. Currently serving as the District Director for Louisiana at SCORE since March 2022, Bob supports operations and growth for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge chapters. Bob has also contributed as an Economic Development Committee Member for the City of Leander and has been a Certified Mentor for SCORE Austin since 2015, where Bob received the SCORE National "Gold Award" and was voted Chapter Chairman in September 2018. Bob's prior experience includes serving as Principal at Shaver Associates, providing real estate and development advisory services, and holding various leadership roles with community organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas and the Leander Chamber of Commerce. Bob holds a B.S. in Management and Marketing from Eastern Illinois University.

Leander lies on the northeast edge of the Texas Hill Country, roughly ten miles due west of Interstate 35 on US Hwy 183, just north of Austin, TX.
