Tricia Pontau

Tricia Pontau is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Sustainability Program Manager and Senior Planner for the City of Livermore since April 2017, focusing on long-range and regional planning, climate mitigation and adaptation, active transportation, infill development, housing, and community engagement. Prior roles include Associate Planner and Assistant Planner at AECOM, where responsibilities included project management and planning, along with significant contributions to the San Francisco Department of the Environment on clean transportation initiatives. Tricia's background includes various positions in environmental sustainability, urban planning, and alternative fuel vehicle promotion, supported by a strong educational foundation with a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environment and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
