Denise Maier

Denise Maier, SPHR, has extensive experience in the field of human resources, spanning over three decades. Denise began their career in 1990 at Morpace Inc., where they served as the Director of Human Resources for almost twenty years. In 2009, they took on a new role as the Director of Human Resources at the Charter Township of West Bloomfield, where they stayed until 2015. Since then, they have been employed by the City of Livonia, initially as the Human Resources Director and recently retiring from the position as the Retired Human Resources Director. With their diverse background and expertise in HR management, Denise Maier is a highly qualified professional in their field.

Denise Maier, SPHR, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR from Wayne State University in 2005. Prior to that, they completed an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Schoolcraft College. In terms of certifications, Denise obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in June 2018.
