Cassie Petersen has extensive experience in geospatial infrastructure, currently serving as Coordinator of Geospatial Infrastructure Systems for the City of London, Canada since July 2018, after holding the position of Technologist in the same department. Prior to this, Cassie worked with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry from January 2016 to June 2018, undertaking various roles including Mapping & Geomatics Technician and Imagery Management Administrator. Cassie’s earlier positions include Aquatic Program Supervisor and Aquatic Leadership Instructor with the City of London from 2009 to 2016, as well as GIS Consultant & Cartographer for the Zephyr Society of Lake Simcoe. Cassie holds a Post Graduate Certificate in GIS Cartographic Specialist from Sir Sandard Fleming College and a Bachelor of Arts in Geographical Information Science from Western University.
