Melissa Richardson began their work experience in 1987 at John Lewis, where they held various roles including trainee manager, library assistant, and press office assistant. In 1995, they moved on to the Institute of Directors and worked as a Business Information Officer until 1997, when they became the Content Manager until 2002.
