Richard A. Thompson, M.A., serves as the Director of Community and Economic Development and Urban Enterprise Zone Coordinator for the City of Long Branch since February 2022, managing a $1.2 million budget and enhancing economic development initiatives. Thompson's accomplishments include increasing the number of registered businesses in the Urban Enterprise Zone by 8% and securing the city's first-ever Silver Status under Sustainable Jersey.
