John Lawlor

Volunteer Outreach Worker at City of Lowell

John Lawlor has extensive experience in community outreach and photojournalism. Currently serving as an Outreach Advocate at the City of Lowell Senior Center since May 2004 and as a Volunteer Outreach Worker for the City of Lowell since April 2004, John consults and assists clients in problem resolution. Previously, John worked as Chief Photographer for Lowell Sun Publishing Co. from June 1955 to October 1975. John holds a degree in History, Government & English from Curry College, has been recognized as an Eastman House Fellow in Photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and completed studies at the American Press Institute at Columbia University.
