Lisa Demeo

Lisa DeMeo, P.E., MBA, serves as the City Engineer and Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Amesbury, a role commenced in February 2024. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Town Engineer for the Town of Lynnfield Public Works since January 2023 and has been the City Engineer for the City of Lowell since 2007. Lisa previously directed public works for the Town of Salisbury from June 2017 to January 2023, overseeing various municipal services. Additionally, Lisa is active in professional associations, serving as President of the MassHighway Association and as Past President of the Essex County Highway Association. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Lowell, an MBA from UMass Lowell, and several certifications related to local government leadership and stormwater management.
