Carey McDonald

Carey McDonald has been a Councillor at City of Malden since October 2008. Prior to that, they were an Editor at GateHouse Media from March 2005 to October 2008, where they edited a weekly newspaper, created and managed a news blog, and created and managed a Facebook page. They also covered cops & courts, arts, culture, and politics. From August 2004 to March 2005, they were a Reporter at East Bay Newspapers, where they covered East Providence, R.I.

Carey McDonald graduated from The George Washington University with a BA in Journalism and Jazz Studies. Carey then attended the Interaction Institute for Social Change, and finally Grub Street.
