Jorge Rubalcava P.e.

Jorge Rubalcava, P.E. currently serves as Senior Civil Engineer for the City of Malibu since September 2019, having previously held positions as Civil Engineer at Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. and Associate Civil Engineer for the City of Malibu. Early career experience includes roles such as Project Engineer at HBE Corporation and Engineering Intern at both the City of Goleta and County of Santa Barbara. Jorge's skills include construction inspection, field documentation, and earthwork calculations, supported by a strong educational foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and an Associate of Arts in Civil Engineering from Ventura Community College. Prior to pursuing engineering, Jorge gained experience in the hospitality industry as a server and manager at Main Street Restaurant & Steakhouse.
