Shawn Schloesser

Shawn Schloesser serves as the Associate Director of Transportation Planning Services for the City of Mankato, bringing a wealth of experience from various roles in public service and education. Previously, Shawn held the position of Site Incident Commander at the State Emergency Operations Center for the State of Minnesota, where emergency management expertise was developed. Shawn also contributed to community and business development as a Specialist at the Region Nine Development Commission. As a Veterans and Military Affairs Field Representative for Congressman Tim Walz in the U.S. House of Representatives, Shawn advocated for military personnel and veterans. Additionally, Shawn has shared knowledge as an Adjunct Instructor at South Central College under the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System.
