Joe H.

Joe H. has a strong background in community and economic development. Joe currently serves as the Director of Community and Economic Development at the City of Maple Grove, Minnesota, where they oversee various functions such as planning, zoning, housing, economic development, building inspection, and permitting. Joe also collaborates with all areas of the organization and has experience serving as the Acting City Administrator. Prior to their current position, Joe worked at the City of Columbia Heights, first as the Assistant Director of Community Development and later as the Community Development Director. Joe also previously worked as a City Planner at the City of Golden Valley. Joe's work experience spans from 2007 to the present.

Joe H. has a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from Hamline University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Use Planning and Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their degrees, Joe H. holds a certification in CPR and AED - Adult, Child, and Infant, which they obtained from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in October 2016.
