Russell Sander

Russell Sander currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Marble Falls, Texas, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Russell Sander held the title of Fire Chief at Marble Falls Fire Rescue from March 2016 to April 2023 and served as Fire Chief at the City of Missouri City, Texas, from September 2003 to February 2016. Russell Sander began career in the fire service as a Lieutenant/Training Officer with the Georgetown Fire Department from November 1995 to September 2003 and as a Lieutenant/Paramedic at Taylor Fire Department from August 1988 to November 1995. Russell Sander holds a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management Administration from West Texas A&M University, an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology from Austin Community College, and a Fire Service Chief Executive Officer certification from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
