Jennifer Brown has extensive experience in municipal administration and public relations, currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Maricopa since April 2015, where responsibilities include directing the Administrative Services Department and overseeing complex citywide projects. Previous roles include Administrative Services Director and Assistant to the City Manager, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Prior to Maricopa, Jennifer worked for El Paso County, Colorado, as Deputy Public Information Officer, managing public relations and crisis communications. Jennifer’s earlier career includes anchoring and reporting for various news organizations, culminating in roles at KRDO-AM/FM/TV and KJCT News 8, as well as founding VAVi Sport & Social Club. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of San Diego.
