Kim Downs

Kim Downs serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Marion, Iowa, since September 2022, guiding a community-focused team. Prior experience includes serving as City Manager for the City of Hiawatha from November 2020 to September 2022 and as City Administrator for the same city from October 2005 to November 2020. Kim Downs holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Dubuque (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Administration, with focuses on Administration and Human Resources, from Mt. Mercy University (2004-2008). Additionally, Kim Downs earned the designation of Master Municipal Clerk from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
